Our Mission Statement
To teach and promote the great game of lacrosse in a fun, safe and sportsmanlike environment.
Our Commitment to You
1
We are dedicated to the skill development of each individual player. We will focus on building strategic thinking, speed, field position, teamwork and finesse rather than physical intimidation or a winning game record.
Our Motto
Let the coaches coach, the officials officiate and above anything else… let the children play and have fun!
Code of Conduct
During registration players/parents agreed to the code of conduct. Violations may result in immediate evacuation from the field, game suspension or expulsion from the club.
Player Pledge
• Respect your teammates, coaches, referees & opponents at all times. • Be gracious in defeat & modest in victory. • Support fellow teammates, encourage them & lead by positive example. • Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; they are part of the learning process. • Effort needs to be 100% for practices & games. • Equipment must be properly maintained & worn at all practices & games. • Learn as much as you can from your coaches. • Fun is part of the experience. Effort & growing are just as important as having fun! • Attendence is expected at both practice & games. Proper notice is required for any absence.
2
Parents Pledge
• Learn & know the rules of the game of youth lacrosse. • Respect the game of lacrosse, officials & coaches. • Referees are only to be approached & spoken to by head coach. • Do not coach your child. Let players play & coaches coach. • Do not criticize other players. • Follow "24 Hour Rule"; if you have a complaint speak with your child’s coach on the following day. • Serious problems should be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors so proper solutions can be developed. • Fun, learning & 100% effort will be emphasized; not winning the game.
