It seems like yesterday…
The novelty of the New Year has come and gone. The demands of work have had our noses to the grindstone – keeping us busy running around trying to achieve goals and meeting deadlines. We heave sighs of relief as another semester comes to an end. Can you believe it is almost Easter? LIFE HAPPENS …I just wish you take the time to appreciate the little things like the warmth of family love, the support of friends and your good health. Time is precious so don’t be too “BUSY” to enjoy the simple things of life. Come on - just do it right now…take a moment and enjoy it!
News and Updates… Recap of events/ activities Can you believe that Lambda Chi is going to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year? What an achievement. Plans are underway to mark this prestigious occasion, and we have a celebration planned for May 23, 2015. We hope you all can attend.

The Research conference was held on February 25, at Barry University. The response was awesome and the number of attendees exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and coupled with an engaging speaker ensured a very successful day. We concluded the year on a festive note: A community event: Palm Beach PhD Cohort LCC members in their community service efforts hosted the Pat Reeves Homeless Shelter Christmas Party on 12/12/14. Calendar of Events Upcoming Lambda Chi Events 1. Lambda Chi Induction ceremony at Broad Auditorium from 5-7 pm on April 15th followed by
a reception with light refreshments at Andreas111-112. 2. Lambda Chi election 2015 – Deadline to vote April 5, 2015 3. Lambda Chi Awards 2015 – Deadline to submit your nomination April 6, 2015. 4. Ice-cream social on April 22. 2015 outside the main nursing office in Wiegand 133 from 12-2pm. 5. Lambda Chi Chapter celebrates its 25th anniversary on Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Signature Grand and the cost will be $125. Start planning as we hope to see you there from 5:30 pm – 10 pm.
