This program will warmly welcome you to the answer plus some power of simplicity. So that you could easily follow the steps and SUCCEED! Lean manufacturing or lean production, often simply "lean", is a systematic method for the elimination of waste ("Muda") within a manufacturing system. Lean also takes into account waste created through overburden ("Muri") and waste created through unevenness in workloads ("Mura"). Working from the perspective of the client who consumes a product or service, "value" is any action or process that a customer would be willing to pay for. Value stream mapping is a lean-management method for analyzing the current state and designing a future state for the series of events that take a product or service from its beginning through to the customer. At Toyota, it is known as "material and information flow mapping". It can be applied to nearly any value chain. Kaizen refers to activities that continuously improve all functions and involve all employees from the CEO down to the assembly line workers. It also applies to processes, such as purchasing and logistics that cross organizational boundaries into the supply chain. It has been applied in healthcare, psychotherapy, lifecoaching, government, banking, and other industries. By improving standardized activities and processes, kaizen aims to eliminate waste.
