was created to receive donations and estate gifts from members and friends. Your endowment: • Continues in perpetuity, growing by additional donations • Serves as a lasting legacy of faith and commitment to our church’s future • Enriches the church’s mission and ministry beyond the annual budget • Funds meaningful projects aligned with the mission of our church through investment returns but leaves donations untouched

Making a Gift
A gift of any size is significant…the best gift is one that is appropriate for you • Giving can be structured to benefit the donor or the church during the donor’s lifetime, or to benefit the church at the death of the donor • Consider an unconditional gift to the endowment offering the greatest flexibility in matching your generosity with the future needs of the church • You may also designate your gift to a purpose of special significance to you • If you wish to further explore your options for legacy giving or make a donation: • Contact Rev. Examples of Gifts
Bequest: The simplest way to make a planned gift is to name the church in your will Charitable IRA Rollover: You are allowed to make a tax-free distribution from your IRA directly to the church Retirement Plan Assets: Naming the church as a beneficiary in your retirement plans can avoid heavy estate taxation, enabling the asset to pass tax-free to the church Life Insurance Policy: Make a gift or buy a policy naming the church the owner and beneficiary Charitable Gift Annuity: A gift annuity is an irrevocable gift of cash or securities where you receive a predictable fixed income for life. At termination, the church receives the residual value of the annuity Charitable Remainder Trust: The remainder trust is an irrevocable gift of assets into a charitable trust that provides you a fixed or variable income. At the trust termination, the trust assets become a generous gift to the church Gift of Stock, Securities or Appreciated Property: Often in the form of common stock or mutual funds, such a gift is a way to benefit the church and for you to receive tax benefits
