Complete Streets - Improvements Outside Major Districts • Example: Wilson Blvd. west of Glebe Road to County Line
• May-July: Five County Board Work Sessions • July: County Board Adopts FY2017-2026 CIP
• Any future Wilson Blvd. projects must start with a feasibility study.
Determine the Demonstration Project to be a success.
◦ Adopt as permanent and implement any spot adjustments.
Future projects = Incremental
◦ Identify whether there are upcoming opportunities to expand the markings west from N. Manchester to N. Liberty. ◦ Study improvements for other segments (west of Liberty and east between George Mason-Glebe), determine where restriping can take place and when.
Plan for physical improvements: Unknown
◦ Funding ◦ Physical challenges (limited R.O.W., utilities, drainage, etc.) ◦ Competition from other projects
