Small Group Bible Study - Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 in room 1. GriefShare, a support group for individuals adjusting to the death of someone close. Thursdays, from 1:30-3:30pm in the youth room. Starting Fall series on September 29. Right Sides Together quilting group - 1st and 3rd Friday, 9am-noon. Church Library is open at the south end of the church by the office. You are invited to visit, browse, check out and return books. Assisted Listening Available Ask for a Sound Mate (Personal Listening System) at the sound booth located at the back of our sanctuary. The Eagle Wings Christmas dinner is approaching quickly! This amazing annual event will happen in our sanctuary on December 11 at 4, and there are plenty of opportunities for you to help make this another great Christmas celebration for those with disabilities in our community. Please contact JoAnn Myers if you are interested in hosting a table and Amanda King (525-512-5167 or [email protected]) if you are interested in serving food or have any questions.
We are having a catered lunch. The cost is $6 per person, collected at the door. Yes, we will still have our White Elephant gift exchange so bring a gift for each person attending and mark it for a man or a woman. Santa has already notified me that he will find us at the church. BLF PLANNING TEAM Several Mountain View mission teams have gone to Europe to serve with Bibles and Literature in French in the past, helping publish and distribute Christian books to people who've never heard the Gospel. Now BLF is coming to us! We have a special opportunity to host the next BLF USA board meeting in February. If you would like to be on a small planning team to organize housing, transportation and meals for our guests, please contact Lynn Lockwood at 425-314-9507. Ideas and help are also welcome for a couple larger fellowship events with Mountain View and community friends.
