The Macomb Board of Education will comply with the Open Meeting Law. 1. Call to order and recording of members present and absent. 2. Discussion and vote to approve or not approve the following board meeting minutes. a. August 11, 2014, regular board meeting 3. Public Hearing: Any individual wishing to address the Board of Education shall complete the form “Request to Address the Board of Education” and present the form to the superintendent Thursday before the meeting. The public session will be limited to thirty (30) minutes. Individuals may speak for (5) minutes. The Board Clerk will signal when an individual’s time has expired and public hearing session has expired. 4. Administrative Reports: a. Elementary Principal b. High School Principal c. Superintendent 5. Discussion and vote to approve or not approve: a. Increase General Fund PO #23 (Day’s Diesel) from $700 to $1,000. b. Increase General Fund PO #46 (White’s Lumber) from $300 to $1,000. c. General Fund encumbrances 60 through 101. d. General Fund warrants 49 through 149. e. Building Fund encumbrance 10. f. Building Fund warrants 14 through 16. g. Child Nutrition Fund encumbrance 9. h. Child Nutrition Fund warrants 5 through 18. 6. Discussion and vote to approve or not approve 2014-2015 sporting event admission prices. 7. Discussion and vote to approve or not approve suggested revisions to 2014-2015 student handbook. 8. Discussion of upgrades to athletic facilities. 9. Vote to convene in executive session to discuss the following: a. Jonathan Gregg grounds/maintenance extra duty assignment. ($10/hour) Extra duty contracts for assignments approved for 2014-2015 school year. i. List A Estimate of Needs for FY2015. Comprehensive Local Education Plan (CLEP) for 2014-2015 school year. Amendment of Policy FD (Student Residency). Addition of Policy FD-E3 (Power of Attorney Form). Amendment of Policy FNCD (Bullying) Amendment of Policy FNCD-P [Prohibiting Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (Investigative Procedures)] Amendment of Policy DNA (Teacher Evaluation) Amendment of Policy EMDB (Flags) Amendment of Policy EIA-R4 (Student Retention). Authorization of Superintendent to create a committee to review new policy EHBDBA (Parents Bill of Rights) and make suggestions for policy EHBDBA to meet the needs of Macomb Public Schools. Activity fund fund-raisers and sub accounts. Board member meetings and mail.

12. Vote to accept any resignation since last board of education meeting. 13. New Business: Items considered new business are “any matter not known which could not have been reasonably foreseen prior to the posting of this agenda”. (25 O.S. Section 311 (A) (9)). 14. Vote to adjourn.
