Match Officials Development March 1, 2017
Please note that NO additional requirements may be mandated by districts, clubs or organizations without prior written approval from The OSA. Pre-Requisites Accreditation Must have graduated from an Entry Level Course a minimum of 3 years ago.
Age Age as of April 1 of the current year – 18.
Experience 1 year as a Grade 6 Match Official
Requirements in Year of Upgrading Registration Exam Obtain a mark of 80% or higher on the Registration Exam (one re-write is permitted after contacting the OSA). To avoid late fees the registration process must be completed by March 31st.
Fitness Testing
Assessment
Complete the District Standard on the Beep Test - Level 7
None are required (until 2017).
Grade Review Your grade will be reviewed by your District Referee Coordinator by:
April 1st to April 8th – Review of Grades based on Registration Exam Results obtained by March 31st. June 1st to June 8th – Review of Grades based on Fitness Standards obtained by May 31st (not applicable for Grade 5 to Grade 6) July 1st to July 8th – Review of Grades based on Assessments marks obtained by June 30th. November 1st to 15th – Annual Review of Grades.
