This is a great opportunity to learn more about our teachings here at Southside, our leadership structure, as well as how to become a member. Lunch and childcare will be provided on Sunday. Dinner, but no childcare, will be provided on Tuesday. RSVP via the communication card, at the Welcome Center, online, or in our app.

Plan on //June Senior Trip: Wildlife Safari, June 9 For those age 60 and over, join us on Friday, June 9, for our trip joining us for a great time of food, fellowship, and study of to Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR. The bus will leave Southside at 8:00 AM and following the drive through the park, we will eat God’s Word. lunch. There just might be an ice cream stop on the way home too! The cost is $16.95/person or $13.00/person if our group is 12 or more. Sign up via the communication card or at the Welcome Center in the lobby.
Teen Ministry //Senior Promotion Dinner & High School Overnighter Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to the Senior Promotion Dinner and High School Overnighter from 5:00 PM on Friday, May 19, to noon on Saturday, May 20. The promotion dinner will be from 6:00-7:00 PM and then the overnighter will follow. The event, at the church building, will include various games and activities for your teens. Please bring snacks and drinks to share. //Bus Drivers & Assistants Needed
Our Welcome to Southside Class is a great opportunity for you to learn more about who we are here at Southside. In this 2-3 hour class, we will talk about our vision/mission, theology, and core values, and give you an opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed environment.
//Help with Interior Custodial and Exterior Maintenance
This class is offered approximately every other month and it is offered for your convenience at two different times, so you can attend the one that best fits your schedule. The first is always on a Sunday, right after our second service. Lunch and childcare are provided. The second offering is the following Tuesday evening. Dinner is provided, but childcare is not available. Register via the communication card, at the Welcome Center, online, or in our app.
Bus drivers for Bus 25 are needed. CDL with a passenger endorsement is required. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the church office at 541.258.7893. Assistance is available for those needing to acquire a CDL. Volunteers are needed to help clean and vacuum the interior of the building on a weekly basis as well as assist with exterior issues such as lawn care and gardening, painting, along with other general facilities upkeep. For more information or to volunteer, sign up at the Welcome Center or contact the Church office.
//Southside at the Soup Kitchen
Southside needs helpers the 3rd Wednesday of every month cooking and serving at the Lebanon Soup Kitchen. If you would like to volunteer a few hours once a month or would like more information, please contact Steve Moody at 541.405.1616 or the church office at 541.258.7893.
