WELCOME AND WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU TO JOIN US!
We are so proud to have you come together with us and support some local non-profits. North Texas Cat Rescue under the 2012 Melon Dash 5K & Fun Run race in the Run Project Series. Run Project is all about keeping it local and allowing you guys to play a major role in supporting our local community of non-profit partners. All of our non-profit partners are local or the money raised is marked for the local chapter. So far this year you have helped us donate over $90,000! You guys are AWESOME! Important things you need to know: 1. Bring your ID if you want in the beer garden and you look younger than your age or your under 30. We will check ID’s. 2. There will be a limit of 2 beers per athlete (we will be checking). 3. Wear sunscreen and a hat! 4. Hydrate starting several days ahead and get plenty of rest the night before. 5. We will have the famous ice towels at the finish line. 6. Fully loaded water stops with water on the 5K course on Graves St. 7. We will be taking a lot of pictures but bring your family anyway so you can have instant gratification from a cell phone picture that you can post on Facebook. 8. This is your race…ENJOY!
