Meralco Bills Payment Process Sample MERALCO Electric Bill
In your MERALCO electric bill, encircled in blue box is the primary ATM/Phone Reference Number that will be used in paying your MERALCO bill in any of the available bills payment channel of China Bank. This includes ATM, China Bank Online, Tellerphone (IVRS), and Mobile Banking. Note: • Your bill should not have an outstanding balance • Amount to be paid should be exact as indicated in the bill and not less than P100.00

China Bank Mobile Banking 1. Visit China Bank Online (http://chinabank.ph) on your mobile and choose “Mobile Version”
2. Indicate your “User ID” and “Login Password” and press the Login button

3. Choose the “Bills Payment” tab
4. Click on “One-Time Non-Enrolled Bills Payment”

5. Once you see the list, choose Meralco (MECO)

6. In the next page, enter the following payment information: a. ATM/Phone Reference Number – as indicated in your Meralco Electric Bill b. Payment Amount - exact amount as indicated in your Meralco electric bill (minimum of P100) c. Debit Account – Select the deposit account where the payment will be sourced. d. Remarks *As indicated in your MERALCO Electric Bill; payment amount should be exact

7. At the bottom of the page: a. Select “Make Payment Now” – If selected, system will immediately process the payment after the transaction is confirmed. b. Click “Pay” Note: User may select “Schedule Payment Date on” and enter the date on when the system will process your payment request. But the entered date should not fall beyond the “Due Date” as indicated in your MERALCO Electric Bill.

8. Enter your User ID and Transaction Password.
9. System will prompt a successful transaction notification and transaction number.

10. The system will likewise issue a “Cyber Receipt” after successful transaction.
