Midwestern BioAg Consultant Recognized The Illinois Forage & Grassland Council’s mission is to provide the framework that unites industry, producers, educational and government institutions for the production, marketing, and wise use of forages and grasslands. Membership is uniquely made up of producers, industry suppliers, educators, and governmental professionals all working together to make forages a viable industry for Illinois farmers. IFGC was incorporated in 1977 and is a state affiliate of the American Forage and Grassland Council. This past week at the Annual Illinois Forage & Grassland Council Instistute Day at Black Hawk Community College in Galva, IL, Ben Adolph was awarded the IFGC Award. This annual award is given to the person in the agricultural field who has been an exceptional industry support person. Congratulations to Mr. Ben Adolph of Morrison, IL. Ben Adolph has been involved in the agricultural field his entire life. Born and raised on his parents farm in Northwest Illinois, he was an avid crop and steer farmer and knew that the agriculture field was where he belonged. He joined Midwestern BioAg as a staff consultant in 2012. Because of his outstanding service, one of his customer’s nominated him for this prestigious award. Ben enjoys being involved in the agricultural field and says his biggest accomplishment has been keeping his family’s farming tradition alive.
