Thread Catcher Make this fun thread catcher, to have handy, next to your machine to keep everything neat and tidy!
Supplies:
15” x 21” Damask fabric 15” x 21” lime green polka dot INSPIRA® In-R-Form batting INSPIRA® No-Show Mesh Extra large rick rack
Prepare: 1. Toggle to Embroidery Mode

2. Touch OK to calibrate embroidery unit. 3. Attach your Sensor Q-foot. 4. Thread with black rayon thread top and black sewing thread in the bobbin. 5. Hoop 360x200 hoop with INSPIRA® No-Show Mesh 6. Select File Manager

7. Load Thread Catcher design 8. Touch

9. Lay INSPIRA® In-R-Form batting on hoop. 10. Place lime green fabric on top, right side up. Bottom right corner of fabric & batting should touch the right bottom corner of inner hoop. 11. Press the FIX button. 12. Use your foot control to baste fabric sandwich to stabilizer. 13. Touch Start/Stop
15. Hoop new piece of INSPIRA® No-Show Mesh. 16. Lay your embroidered fabric sandwich along bottom left corner of hoop. 17. Open Design Positioning 18. Touch Step 1

19. Set Cursor point to bottom right corner 20. Touch Step 2

21. Use arrows to move needle to bottom right hand corner, leaving ¼” space from stitched corner. 22. Touch

23. Select Fix. 24. Baste, using your foot control. 25. Press Start/Stop
to stitch design.
26. When the embroidery finishes, remove the hoop. 27. Toggle to Embroidery Edit 28. Toggle to Sewing Mode

Trim embroidered piece and lining down to 12½” square. 29. Select stitch A1:2
37. Turn right side out. 38. Pin rick rack in place. 39. Stitch in place around top. 40. Turn thread catcher inside out. 41. Put lining inside thread catcher, rights sides together. 42. Stitch around top leaving 2½” opening. 43. Turn right side out through the opening on the top. 44. Close seam with INSPIRA® Stick N’ Fuse II. 45. Press. 46. Topstitch around the top. Now tidy up. You have the perfect place to put those little threads!
