2018– 2019 Season Parent Meeting

PAYMENTS •





Methods of payment for tuition • Monthly ACH Payment (directly from checking acct) • Billed on the 1st • Quarterly Payment (Due on the 1st of each quarter) • June – Aug / Sept – Nov / Dec – Feb / March – April • Must have an ACH or Credit Card on file despite • Cash, Checks, ACH, Visa, Master Card, Discover ($2 Processing Fee) Extras billed separately • Local competitions, tumbling classes, extra merchandise Only past due invoices will be handed out • Statements available upon request

PAYMENTS • Monthly payments include: • All needed merchandise • Gym training fees • Competition registrations • NOT included: • Local competitions • Travel expenses • Late / Returned Fees • Finances handled by Kristen or Raquel (Jessie, Laura, Ashley & Barbie can collect but wont be able to answer questions regarding account) • Athletes will sit out / pulled from competition if: • Paperwork is missing • Account is not up to date

GYM RULES • If you need assistance or an answer to anything, please contact us. • Do not make assumptions about anything. Always ask. • Attitude is everything! Keep a good one. • Please make sure that you have each of your coaches’ numbers.. Do not call or text staff at inappropriate hours unless it is an emergency. (GroupMe’s will be set up later in season) • All cellphones must be put away once practice starts. • Top Gun is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

GYM RULES • Read your contract for all policies & responsibilities
 • Only athletes & coaches are allowed inside training space. Siblings of athletes cannot come inside the gym. • No one is allowed to yell onto the floor or make contact through the bay doors. • You cannot create or sell your own TG clothing. Our name and LOGO is copyrighted. All ideas for apparel must be emailed and approved by management. • Shoes & designated practice wear must be worn at practice. Conditioning/gym clean up will be assigned. • Do not post negative comments or any portion of the routines/music on any social media outlet.

GYM INFO • Parking • Please do not let children run in the parking lot or play by the train tracks • Do not leave children unattended
 • Drink station • Please keep all drinks in the parents den • No food or gum allowed in the gym / only water • Keep our home clean (bathrooms etc.)
 • Absentee/Substitution form – PROCESS • Must be handed to coaches & sub. agreed upon • Written / No verbal exchange • Must be turned in 2-3 weeks in advanced • Planned vacations, school functions, etc. • Communicate with all coaches, not just one • Summer months are slightly more lenient. 


TOP GUN IS A FULL COMMITMENT!!! • Athletes must be at every practice

• Absences are not acceptable during choreography • Excusable absences • Death in the family • Extreme illness • Homework/Projects is not an excuse, plan ahead • Do not use Top Gun as a form of punishment. It hurts the whole team.

GYM INFO •

Set up appointments to speak to coaches before / after practice. Do not interrupt practice 


• Practices are closed • Observe from the Parent Den • Extra friends can’t just show up (open gym)
 • Please ask all questions at reception desk first before entering the private office • Private office is reserved for appointments

TRAVEL • Parents / Athletes are responsible for traveling and lodging • Meeting time: 6:00 PM • Plane must land no later than 4:00 PM • Travel Chart • Check in with coaches at designated location • Travel information sheet goes out around August with all info to book • Atlanta & Daytona bus option • Travel & competition FAQ’s

DO NOT FLY OR TRAVEL THE WED / THURSDAY BEFORE COMPETITIONS AS THERE WILL BE PRACTICE!!

TRAVEL (CAMP) • Camp is MANDATORY •

June 9th & 10th – Senior Levels 1 & 2, Jr Teams & Younger • Location: Top Gun Gym

• Sr & Coed teams (L3-L5) • Sleep away camp • Aug 31st – Sept 3rd • Location: Camp Geneva (Fruitland, FL) •

Hot Shots (Worlds Teams Only) • Miami, Florida • Date: June 29th – July 1st • Hotel Info will be sent out soon

• Summer Break: (last 2 weeks of July) July 15th – 29th • Winter Break: Dec 24th – Jan 1st

PRACTICES AND APPAREL • Prior to receiving clothing • Black on black / sneakers / pony tail with bow 
 • Practice clothes are mandatory once received • Purchase replacement attire if lost • Place name of athlete on all tags
 • All athletes should have been measured for all clothing & sneakers. If you are from out of town, you will need to get sized at your 1st practice.
 • Junior / Senior team practices (L2-L5) • Half an hour stretching and conditioning each practice
 • If you order something from tgproshop.com you must email your concerns or questions there. We do not have access to see records here at the gym. Do NOT bother Jose while coaching.

ONLINE • USASF REGISTRATION • Every athlete must do this prior to 1st competition • You CAN NOT compete without it • $35.00 Annual Fee • Due every year as of Aug 1st • If you competed last year with another gym, please provide us with that info.
