able to begin training the South Sudanese in their home country by May of 2016. It is exciting to be part of what GOD IS DOING IN NORTH AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST!
I thank my Lord for the faithfulness of His promises, especially in this past year! I know I had Ed’s photo in my last newsletter; but I am including it again! It is difficult to believe that on December 8th, it will be a year since Ed went to be with the Lord. After being my best friend for 50 years, I miss him so much! I am beginning to understand Isaiah 54:5 more than in the past: “For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.” My relationship with the Lord is so much more precious!
The ministry very close to my heart is House of Hope in South Sudan. In 2011 I had the privilege of visiting this orphanage with my oldest granddaughter. The home had just opened several months earlier and there were seven precious girls who had been rescued from the streets and a future life of prostitution. There are now 27 young girls living in a loving home where they are learning about God’s love. Most have already accepted Christ as their personal Savior!
It is an honor and privilege to be involved in Streams of Living Water for the past 11 years. So many exciting things are happening in the ministry and we are seeing GOD AT WORK IN NORTH AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST! This past September the Streams Mobilization Conference was held in Egypt with 1,000 adults in attendance. On the closing night, 200 (mainly Egyptians) made a commitment to serve the Lord wherever or whenever He led. Can you imagine a missions conference where 20% commit their lives to missions! GOD IS AT WORK IN NORTH AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST ! Training will begin for those Egyptians who are heading to the mission field through the Streams School. Tyrannus will continue training Sudanese for church planting ministries to the unreached. There are 27 currently enrolled in the 5th generation of students! Construction has begun for a southern branch of Tyrannus in South Sudan! Lord willing, plans are to be
This year, ten of the girls were in the top of their class. Three were number one in their particular class! We appreciate those who are helping support these girls; and we are in need of others to step up and become part of the support team of these young girls! When my husband went to be with the Lord, a memorial fund was set up in his memory for the benefit of the chapel at House of Hope. I recently received photos of how the funds were used to purchase area rugs, benches, windows and doors for the chapel. Thank you to all of you who gave a loving gift in his memory! Thank you to those who are supporting me financially. I am so grateful to the Lord for each on of you. This next month my account will be in arrears and I am in need of additional support. If anyone would like become part of my support
