Who goes on a retreat? It may surprise you that men of all ages and backgrounds have been going to the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center for the better part of half a century. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, or your socio-economic background. All that matters is that you have a desire to experience something that will help you refocus on the things that matter most in your life. Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford is once again inviting members of our parish to experience a dynamic weekend retreat that explores the meaning and the potential of love to transform our lives. Love is our source and our destination. Christ gave us nothing less than complete love on the cross, and we, in turn, are called to love one another. The Retreat begins with a buffet dinner Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM and ends with brunch at noon on Sunday. For those interested in finding out more about this year’s retreat, you can visit their web site at www.holyfamilyretreat.org or call 860.760.9705 for additional information. You may also contact parish co-chairman Tyler Vartenigian at 860-657-2175.
