OPW Board Meeting Meeting Minutes Meeting Date: Monday, November 7, 2011 Start Time: 7:05pm End Time: 8:08pm Location: Westminster Town Hall – Rm 112 Attendees: Mike Garofano, Becky Johnston, Celina Leger,

Call to order: 7:05pm
Treasurer’s Report o Treasurer’s report provided by Becky Johnston – Vote of acceptance.
Secretary’ Report o Website Update – New website up and running. Encouraged people to send pics for the photo gallery. o Limo Ride for Candy Bar Winners – OPW Night. Limo to pick kids up/ice cream?/drop off at OPW Night. As soon as we nail down a date for OPW night, Celina will call Lincoln Stiles to schedule ride.
Cheer Director’s Report o At Central Mass Comp, Junior Pee Wee’s placed 3rd, Midgets placed 2nd. Advanced to Regional Qualifiers where both teams placed 6th. o Fun Comp in Boston – Board agreed to pay the $100 fee for the Midgets to attend. o JPWC Coach Jamie attended the meeting to voice her concern with the new uniforms. Only 2 out of the 11 were right with regard to sizing. Becky will contact Varsity to negotiate either a discount or lettering upgrade.
Football Director’s Report o Junior Pee Wee’s are Central Mass Champions – Beat Auburn 48-24 for title. o Saturday, November 12, 2011 @ 10am in Winchendon (Murdock High School) – Regional Qualifier vs. Eastern Mass (West Lynn or Wilmington) o Junior Midgets will play Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Oakmont @ 1:30 vs Blackstone Valley. If they win, they will move on to the Superbowl on the 19 th.
President’s Report o Sunday, November 13, 2011 game at Oakmont. No police detail required. Celina to call Police department and cancel original detail that was ordered. EMT is all set for the game. Caouette girls will cover 50/50. Katie Salerno will cover one of the gates, Katie Caouette, Tanya LeBlanc and CJ Johnston will be in the shack. We are still in need of another to cover the emergency entrance gate. Limited menu in shack as there is only one game that day. o Saturday, November 19, 2011 Superbowl games at Oakmont. Building use form all set from 12-9pm. Celina to call police department for Police Detail from 12:30-8:30pm. EMT
is all set for this game. Missy will check with mountain on getting Chili/Chowder for the shack. Scott to talk to Dave Uminski and/or Dave LaRoche about getting student volunteers to help out that day. Celina to send volunteer spreadsheet to Team Mom’s. o OPW Night can be discussed in greater detail at the next Monthly meeting. Ellis Cole volunteered to head up a Spaghetti Supper on the same night. More details to come. o Elections Monday, January 9th
