Outstanding event for volunteer hours!
It’s time for MIS Cleanup again! As a reminder, this is one of our most important fundraisers for the school year. Holy Ghost is very fortunate to have this unique opportunity afforded to us each year, which allows us to fund a chunk of the year with just a few days of work.

Michigan International Speedway is located in Brooklyn, MI, roughly 1 hour from Holy Ghost. The most efficient route for most people will be to take M-50 headed west through Dundee (Figure 1). The team will gather in the infield (red circle in Figure 2) by the main concession stand at 9am. The main entrance to the infield is located off of US-12. Items you should consider bringing to MIS: Lunch (concessions will NOT be open) Sunscreen Hat Sunglasses Rubber gloves (we provide gloves, but some prefer thicker gloves) Protective rain gear (if forecasted)

Cleanup at MIS generally takes until about 3pm, at which point the truck will head back to Holy Ghost for sorting. There will be a bring-a-dish-topass pot luck at the sorting event. Once sorting is complete, we need help returning cans and bottles to Walmart, Meijer, and other vendors that are kind enough to allow us time on their machines. Main Entrance
