“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from which cometh my help, My help cometh form the Lord, which made Heaven and Earth.” (Psalms 121: 1-2) Mr. James Scott was born January 7, 1955 in Houston County to the parents of the late Rev. Johnnie and Malissie Scott. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Johnnie B. Scott and one sister, Martha Scott. He received his education in Houston County Public School System and graduated from Perry High School in 1974. At an early age, he accepted Christ into his life and became a member of Mathis Chapel Baptist Church. His love for his children and grandchildren made him a wonderful father and grandfather.
