RHF 55TH Anniversary Celebration and Veterans APPRECIATION Wednesday, August 9th at 4:00 PM Congratulations to us, as we celebrate the 55th Anniversary of RHF! For this grand celebration, we will be honoring our Veterans that live at Park Place and Esperanza. Joining us we have the privilege to host Dr. Joseph, the RHF Board, their spouses, several of our Regional Team from Corporate, and local Seattle guests. Be sure to save Wednesday, August 9th for a wonderful celebration BBQ with family and friends of Park Place and Esperanza.
Morning bread & talk Friday, July 7th & 21st at 9:00 AM Who doesn’t like the delightful smell of freshly baked bread? We are planning something new with our Morning Bread & Talk. It will include us baking fresh bread, soaking in the wonderful smell and aroma, and talking about whatever comes to mind. So stop by the activity room and join us for a great fragrance of bread to surely make your noses happy!
Weekly CHRONICLES Tuesday, July 11th, 18th and 25th at 9:30 AM The Weekly Chronicles are back! Come join Stacy and Jameila for some great conversations, while learning about historical events. These talks will include a quote of the day, historical happenings, famous birthdays, trivia, and other fun facts for the week.
Frye MuseuM “MindFulness Meditation” Wednesday, July 26th at 11:30 AM Do you find yourself lost in thought sometimes? With training and practice of Mindfulness Meditation we can use it in all facets of life. We can discover calm amidst and appreciate the gift of each day. We look forward to seeing everyone aboard for this peace of mind trip!
CHATEAU Ste. Michelle Winery Thursday, July 20th at 10:00 AM We have visited this beautiful winery before, and for all who missed it we will be taking another trip! Come Enhance your wine knowledge as you learn about the rich heritage, get a behindthe-scenes glimpse at winemaking, and see what makes the Columbia Valley such a premier grape growing region.
summer picnic at seward park Thursday, July 27th, 10:00 AM Our Summer Picnics have now begun!! We will be going to Seward Park to enjoy some sun, great food packed by our wonderful folks in the kitchen and maybe even a few games. If you prefer shade, we will be sure to pick a great spot for everyone. Be sure to sign up!
National Teddy Bear Picnic Day in the Garden Friday, July 28th, 11:00 AM On this gorgeous summer day, take your Teddy Bear (or Teddy Bears) out for a day in the sun. It's time for a Teddy Bear Picnic! We will enjoy this day outside of our very own garden with snacks, and lemonade!
National Blueberry Month Monday, July 10th, 10:00 AM July was proclaimed National Blueberry Month by the United States Department of Agriculture on May 8th, 1999. Did you know that eating blueberries could also be one of the keys to living a prolonged and healthy life? That is because the blueberry comes in with the highest antioxidant level! Join us to celebrate the prolonging of our lives, with some blueberry muffins in the Deli!
Who am I ? This month we have posted clues on the Activity Room windows. These clues are for a person with a Birthday in the month of July. Put your guess in and if you are right, we will put your name up in the winner’s window! Good Luck! NOW we also have a ‘WHAT AM I’. So you have the possibility of having your name up twice if you are a quick guesser!

Two Bank Trips Each month Monday, July 3rd, 9:45 AM and 1:45 PM Each month we are making two trips to the bank, which seems to be a big hit! In the morning we go to Bank of America and CHASE. In the afternoon, we go to ALL other banks. Please list the bank you wish to go to when you are signing up in the book.
