DIRECTIONS:​Follow along with the ​ Platformer - Publishing​ screencast while following along with this step-by-step instruction sheet. ❏



Open the existing “Platformer” project in ​ Construct 2

● Insert your USB/Flash Drive and go to COLESTOCK > GAMEDEV > Platformer

Export Project

● FILE menu > “Export project…”

● Double-click on the “Platformer.capx” project file

● Select “HTML5 website” (under “Web”) Click “Next” ● Accept all default values, ​ EXCEPT​ for “Export files to:” specify the following: COLESTOCK > GAMEDEV > Platformer > HTML5 Click “Next” ● Choose “Normal style” template Click “Export” ● Select “Open Destination Folder” to review files ❏

FTP your Project using FileZilla to your class website 

● Launch Filezilla and login using: ○ Host:​ www.ahstech.net ○ Username:​ Student ID # ○ Password:​ 6-digit birthday

● Click ‘Quickconnect’

Create “platformer” Directory on your Class Website 

● Right-click “Create directory” in the right (remote) side.

● Create a directory named “platformer” Press “OK”



Move project files from the ​ HTML5 directory to the newly created platformer folder on your Website 

● Drag your files from the local (left) site to remote (right) site



Play Game

● Test by visiting your website using Google Chrome: http://www.ahstech.net/~XXXXXXX/platformer (where the Xs represent your Student ID #)
