Ball State University Athletics staff members may provide a student-‐athlete or full squad with an occasional meal at any location within the locale of the Ball State University campus. RAIs and boosters may only provide an occasional meal to a student-‐athlete or full squad at the home of the RAI or booster. Local and reasonable transportation may be provided to the student-‐athletes to attend the occasional meal. During an official visit, a prospective student-‐athlete may attend an occasional meal provided the meal does not occur at a representative of athletics interest’s (RAI) or booster’s home, and the RAI or booster are not in attendance. This meal will count as one of the three (3) permissible meals per day. Ball State has determined that student-‐athletes may partake in two (2) occasional meals per month. Exceptions may be made with advance approval from the Compliance Office.
