ROLE SUMMARY: The General Manager is the leader responsible for the overall business operations of both Landmark and Ironwood Property Care. The focus is building a long term sustainable business. They will do this by: 1. BEING THE LEAD AMBASSADOR: a. Modeling our values and way of doing business b. Leading a “Great Place To Work!” by ensuring: i. Team members are growing ii. Highly engaged team culture iii. The Team is aligned with the purpose and values of the company c. Ensuring client delight and cultivating a sense of partnership with suppliers and community d. Ensure vehicles, equipment, property and office represent our values
2. ENSURING DELIVERY ON WHAT MATTERS MOST: a. Safety: i. Zero lost time ii. All go home “intact” iii. MOL compliance b. Quality: Target is 100% quality first-pass every time c. Efficiency: i. Organizing and assignment of the team’s work and priorities ii. Continuous improvement of people and processes iii. Ensure SOP’s are in place, followed and improved

4. BUSINESS OPERATIONS: a. Annual planning: i. Ensuring annual planning is aligned with long-term goals ii. Ensuring regular monitoring of business metrics relative to plan b. Leadership team: i. Ensuring all people leaders are personally engaged and are supported so that they are delivering as promised ii. Ensuring current and future leaders are developed as outlined by plan iii. Ensuring a sustainable business model is in place, by never being dependent on one individual in key roles c. People and culture: i. Ensuring appropriate HR tools and practices are in place ii. Ensure hiring, firing, reviews and development is aligned according to our values and goals iii. Ensuring appropriate culture and people development occurs c. Sales and Marketing: i. Ensure the team delivers on sales numbers as budgeted ii. Ensure effective and innovative marketing to deliver on business objectives iii. Ensure on-going clarity of the Unique Value Proposition and Ideal Client profile in the markets it chooses to do business iv. Cultivate “remarkable” relationships with clients v. Ensure appropriate networking consistently occurs to support sales

4. BUSINESS OPERATIONS cont’d d. Finance: i. Ensure purchases are aligned with approved budgets ii. Ensure invoicing, AP’s and AR’s are delivered as promised iii. Ensure effective budgeting: each area appropriately has input, highly engaged and committed to delivering on their budget iv. Timely and effective reporting d. Process improvement: i. Ensure a “what’s possible” mindset in self and in the team ii. Ensure all processes regularly used have an SOP and are monitored for any improvement opportunities iii. Continuously leading the Landmark and Ironwood team so that it is: • Decreasing waste • Decreasing cost • Increasing speed • Increasing quality • Decreasing rework
5. ENSURE A WELL-LED TEAM BY: a. Roles and goals are clear and regularly reviewed for team members: i. Drive clarity and focus on vision and goals ii. Ensure lead measures are acted upon iii. Ensure follow-up and accountability iv. Regularly ‘keep score’ b. Engaging, effective and frequent communication: i. Personal communication skills create passion, clarity and focus with the owner, team, clients, suppliers and community ii. Ensure that any conflict is lead well for themselves and for their team iii. Lead team meetings that deliver passion, clarity and focus
