Classic Metal Frame Floor Mirror Anti-tip kit Installation Instructions NOTICE: To prevent injury and property damage from unexpected tipping of furniture, We highly recommend installation of the anti-tip kit included with this product. This mirror is very heavy and not intended to be wall-mounted. The mirror is only intended to be leaned against a wall, sitting on the floor (i.e., floor mount). Since it is possible that the mirror could tip and fall from its upright position, we strongly recommend the mirror be secured to the wall using the provided anti-tip kit. The two D-rings located on the rear of the mirror are designed to allow mirror to be secured to a provided anti-tip kit - only one of the two D-rings is used. Tools: Pencil, Stud-Finder, Philips Screwdriver, Power Drill, Tape measure.

Mounting Brackets Zinc Screws Plastic Strap DO NOT HANG THE MIRROR, IT’S MEANTH TO USE WITH THE ANTI TIP KIT PROVIDED

Attaching mirror to wall with anti-tip kit. 1.

The mirror includes two D-rings located on the rear surface. One of these D-rings must end up next to a wall stud.

2.

Determine where the mirror is to be placed and mark location on the wall for the mounting bracket screw holes. They should be placed approximately 2” below the D-rings on the back of the mirror frame. The mounting bracket must be installed to a wall stud. Use a stud finder to locate the studs within the wall.

3.

Attach one mounting bracket vertically to the wall by inserting the (2) zinc screws provided through the holes in the bracket and tightening securely using screwdriver. Screws must penetrate wall studs for proper installation.

4.

Place mirror so the “D”-ring on the back edge is in line with the bracket on the wall.

5.

Thread the end of the provided strap through the adjacent D-ring and the small openings located in the bracket. Secure the open end of the strap into the ratchet located at the opposite end so that a closed loop is formed. Tighten the strap until you hear click sounds. The mirror is now secured to the wall and should not be able to fall. Installation of the AntiTip Kit is complete.

6.

To remove the strap, depress the small level that is located at the ratchet end of the strap and slide the strap out.

Care Instructions: To clean: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive or strong chemical household cleaners. A household glass cleaner may be used for the mirror surfaces – spray the cleaner on a clean Cloth first and then use the cloth to clean the glass. Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the glass or frame surfaces. Thank you for your purchase
