Shiner Beers has a long-standing connection to the United States military. For many troops here and abroad, Shiner has always been a taste of home. Now Shiner is joining forces with the Boot Campaign. Shiner Beers is outfitting stores with unique displays and custom programs explaining Shiner’s alliance with the Boot Campaign, along with materials that encourage more ways for customers to get involved. They can purchase the actual boots online, or give a donation through text at grocery, or at register through our convenience store and on-premise promotion.

The Boot Campaign makes a $35,000 donation to the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization which helps soldiers transition to civilian careers after their military service. The donation to the Call of Duty Endowment is a result of the efforts at the Boot Campaign’s first-ever Boot Ride & Rally held August 28th in Hollywood, CA. Nearly 1,000 people attended the Boot Ride & Rally held at the Happy Ending Bar & Restaurant in Hollywood. The event featured a motorcycle ride led by Marcus Luttrell, Navy SEAL (ret) and cast members of the hit FX show Sons of Anarchy, followed by a rally featuring performances by Derek Sholl and the Katey Sagal band.

“get YOUR boots on” Party & Fashion Show Boot Sales Further "VHVTUUIt/BTIWJMMF'JMN*OTUJUVUF 'SBOLMJO 5/ Benefit Surviving Thank you to everyone who attended the “get YOUR boots on” party & fashion show in Franklin, TN. The Spouses Boot Girls had a great time seeing our boots walk the runway. Special thanks to event planners — Stephanie Williams, Jane Ellen and Guy Land.

The Boot Campaign is humbled to announce an additional $8,500 donation to the United Warrior Survivor Foundation. In the wake of the August 6, 2011 Chinook crash, the Boot Campaign made an initial $10,000 grant to UWSF to support surviving spouses. At that time, the Boot Campaign announced that all August boot sales would be earmarked for UWSF to support the ongoing needs of surviving spouses. America, thank you for getting YOUR boots on!

Remember 30: A Virtual Memorial Service More than 12,000 people attended The Boot Campaign’s “Remember 30 – A Virtual Memorial Service” on social media sites, Facebook and Twitter, to honor the soldiers killed in the helicopter crash on August 6, 2011 in Afghanistan. “Remember 30 – A Virtual Memorial Service” was held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 in conjunction with the Navy SEAL Memorial Service held in Virginia Beach, VA. Through the virtual memorial, the Boot Campaign urged its followers on Facebook and Twitter to change their profile photos to the official “Remember 30” graphic and to wear their Boot Campaign combat boots on August 25th.
