No-Cook Chocolate-Almond Ice Cream 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk 2 cups whole chocolate milk 2/3 cup chocolate syrup 3/4 cup toasted sliced almonds Preparation

Whisk first 4 ingredients in a 2-quart pitcher or large bowl until blended. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Pour milk mixture into freezer container of a 1-quart electric ice-cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. (Instructions and times will vary.) Remove container with ice cream from ice-cream maker, and place in freezer 15 minutes. Stir almonds into prepared ice cream. Transfer to an airtight container; freeze until firm, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 2

Do you like wine? Then you should have hand painted wine glasses! Join us for a Friday night wine & painting party on July 17th! You must supply your own wine & drinking glass! I will supply the glasses for painting and all of the other supplies needed. $25.00 person, must be 21 or over! PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE! Bargello Tree Skirt This is a 4 seission class (7/15, 22, 29, & 8/5). Registration $5.00 Pattern $10.00 Teacher fee $50.00 This is a lagre tree skirt (64inches in diamneter) so you will need a little over 7 yards of fabric for the top! So please remember that you will receive a discount if you purchase your fabric here!
Got T-Shirts? Then come and make a t-shirt quilt with us! We will cover the basics including how to stabilize your t-shirts for a neat finished look! So get those shirts out and join us for a series of 4 classes! Classes starting in August Instructor: Leona Ragsdale Registration fee: $20.00 (covers cost of book) Class fee $50.00 plus cost of material.
Color Me Crazy Wallhanging July 25th 10:30-3:00 This is a one day class, you will learn color pencil on fabric and do a little crazy quilting (I have not finished the sample yet, I still have to do the stitching between the blocks!) You can either do the stitching on your machine or do hand embroidery! Registration: $5.00 Kit: $15.00 (includes all fabric for top, border & pattern) Teacher: $20.00
Class Policy All classes are filled on a firstcome, first serve basis. Classes fill FAST and are limited in size. Registration fee is due at sign up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we would appreciate 12 hours notice. As a courtesy to others, no babies or children under 8 are allowed. Children over 8 are welcome to attend if they have paid the regular class fee and are accompanied by an adult registered for the same class.Please arrive early for classes, as they will begin on time. Please check each class description for supplies you need to bring or come early and we’ll be happy to assist you with finding what you need. We do not require that you purchase your supplies from us; however we would appreciate it if you did. So to help you out we offer class participants a 20% discount on any purchase made during class.

Gemstone By Wing and a prayer All batik fabric by Timeless Treasures This will be a 12 month block of the month! Registration: $10.00 Monthly fee: $20.00(includes tax) includes all fabric for top& pattern. We will have the sample available to see in the shop in a couple of weeks, so stop by and check it!
Quilting Tips If you need to rip out a seam, give it a quick shot of spray starch and press it first. It's easier to rip out and helps stabilize the fabric so it doesn't distort or fray as much. To keep from burning your fingers from the steam or heat of your iron, use a bamboo skewer to hold open your seams as you press them.
Painting Tips When painting with acrylic paints, have a brush basin or container for water on hand. You will want to clean your brushes between colors or when changing brushes. Add a couple drops of liquid dish detergent to the cool water in your brush basin. You will immediately notice that your brushes will clean quicker. Follow through by blotting your clean brushes on a paper towel before loading the brush with a new color. If you don't blot your bristles, the excess water in the brush will dilute or thin the new paint color.
