OTM BOOK 7 TRAINING Mississauga, February 21 The Ontario Traffic Manual’s Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) has been developed to provide basic uniform requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway or utility construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public highways including ramps and municipal roads and streets, (as well as other public ways to which road traffic has access). TECHNICAL TRAFFIC OPERATIONS COURSE Aylmer, April 9-20 This course will focus on providing participants with a basic overview of all aspects of traffic engineering including an understanding of the various types of traffic control devices and how to use them. TRANSPORTATION MODELLING SYMPOSIUM Mississauga, March 2 The OTC is holding its 1st Transportation Modelling Symposium, featuring speakers presenting traffic and transportation topics covering macro, meso, and microsimulation traffic modelling analysis applications. The symposium would be of interest to managers, engineers, planners, and senior staff who undertake or are presented with the outputs and results of this work to make informed decisions.
