TECHNICAL TRAFFIC OPERATIONS COURSE The course will take place March 2-13, 2015 at the Ontario Police College, Aylmer. The Technical Traffic Operations Course and the Police Traffic Officers’ Course run concurrently. The two courses encourage interaction between engineering and policing personnel and build an understanding of the roles that staff in each field contribute to enhancing safety on Ontario's roads. The residential nature of the courses allows students to get to know each other in a professional and social atmosphere as well. For details and registration visit www.otc.org/events

INTERSECTION SAFETY COURSE
The Environmental Assessment Workshop will be held March 4, 2015 at the Holiday Inn, Burlington.
The Intersection Safety Course will be held March 9 & 10, 2015 at the Holiday Inn, Vaughan
This workshop covers all types of environmental assessments for transportation projects including provincial, municipal and conservation authority environmental assessments. The interrelationship between these environmental assessments, criteria that triggers them and various aspects of each of these environmental assessments is also included.
This comprehensive two-day course encompasses all forms of at-grade intersections (unsignalized, signalized and roundabouts) and the safety of their users (pedestrians, bicycles, vehicles and others). This two-day course is unique in North America and is readily applicable to many aspects of transportation planning, design, operations and maintenance.
