RC1824 The RC1824 chipper was designed with a powerful feed system to minimise trimming and make feeding difficult material easier for the operator. The top feed wheel is 24-inches (61cm) in diameter to easily climb over limbs and logs and powered by a planetary drive motor that’s nearly maintenance free. The chipper throat is 24-inches (61cm) with no neck down behind the feed wheel. Power is supplied by a Cummins 160hp diesel engine and Rayco’s Versa-Feed automatic feed control ensures optimum performance. The 4-knife drum measures 38-inch (96.5cm) diameter x 24-inch (61cm) wide to chip smoothly and allow more width than the competition for chipping crooked material and/or multiple pieces. The RC1824 is available with a host of options to suit your specific needs.
