RDA Supra Regional Conference South East, South, and Greater London Regions 14 April 2015 Guide We look forward to welcoming you to our Supra Regional Conference at the historic Royal Military Academy and hope that the following information will help you to make the most of your day with us.
TRAVEL The Royal Military Academy (RMA) is easily accessible and travel details can be found here: http://www.army.mod.uk/training_education/24490.aspx Please note that the conference is being held at a number of locations within the academy grounds and you should keep in mind the following points: 1) Allow plenty of time to travel from the entrance at the Staff College Gate, where photo ID will be required, to Woolwich Hall, where the morning session is taking place.
2) Lunch will be served in the Old College Dining Room and you will see from the map that there is a short walk between the buildings 3) Following lunch, we will be outside for the equine demonstrations, and although we can schedule most things, the British weather is beyond our control, so please dress appropriately on the day. Although not detailed on the map, the Brunei Stables are located between Woolwich Hall and the Chapel. We will be using an outdoor school. We have ensured that all of our venues are accessible and as there will be a very small amount of disabled parking available, please plan to use our drop off point as far as possible. Once inside the RMA, the route to the conference will be clearly signposted. Be sure to enjoy the view as you travel through this outstanding piece of British Army history.
You will see from the map, that it is a significant distance (and not a walk!) from the Staff College Gate to Woolwich Hall. Please note that the following local taxi companies have authorised access to the Academy grounds and will be able to drop you directly at Woolwich Hall: Ser
