Aims to support you to develop renewable electricity and heat generation projects in your area using business models that enable local ownership, local income generation and where possible local energy supply arrangements. • Project planning and delivery • Attracts social and commercial investment for community renewable energy projects • Investment, expertise and management capacity • Business models All benefit goes to community other than at risk finance which comes back to the CIC to develop other CE projects
Grand plans… • Data – info and evidence to support projects • Arts – innovative engagement techniques – TODAY – Matt and Kirsti • LA engagement – e.g. working with S. Glos. • Industry engagement – guidance and training • Localism – reinforced by CLG announcement for additional guidance
