Inspirational & comedic speaker, Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, is the co-host for the national daily show, The 700 Club Canada. Over the years, she has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and many great men and women of faith.

Her experiences have ranged from outrageous & exhilarating to heart breaking & life altering. Laura-Lynn brings her light-hearted yet profound, straight-to-the-point insight to her audience. In a dynamic and candid way she refuses to offer anything less than honest, gut-level truth. Having hit her own rock bottom, she is able to convey with certainty that there is hope beyond despair and life after seeming death.
Laura-Lynn has released her new book “Relentless Redemption.” Her story will inspire and ignite you to realize no matter how tragic your journey has been, it's never too late!

Registration Cost: $120 Online registration is available at rockchurch.ca/ministries/adults. Register at the Alabaster tables in the foyers on both levels beginning March 26th.
Retreat with us for a weekend to a new location, Brigadoon Village, nestled in the heart of the Annapolis Valley on the shores of beautiful Aylesford Lake. This facility offers an inspirational setting for our Ladies’ getaway! You’re sure to enjoy the excellent food, the encouragement and the fellowship of friends new and old. Drive with friends or catch a ride on the church bus.*
Brigadoon Village 1650 N River Rd, Kentville, NS B4N 3V8 *A bus fee of $5 will be collected as you board the church bus. The bus will leave the church on Friday at 5:00 P.M. and will return at approximately 3:00 P.M. on Sunday.
Registration due by Sunday, April 9th (non-refundable after this date) An offering will be received on Sunday morning to cover the extra costs of the weekend. For more information, contact the church office at 902-864-3553. Saturday afternoon archery will be offered at an additional cost of $10. Pay for this optional activity with registration. Saturday afternoon Painting with Andrea will be offered at a cost of $15. Pay for this optional activity with registration.
Details 1. All meals and snacks are provided. Should you require additional foods, please bring them with you. If you have special dietary needs, please advise the registration table. NOTE: Brigadoon is a NUT FREE facility nuts cannot be brought onto the property. 2. No fancy clothes are needed; just casual, comfortable clothes. You will need sleeping bags or sheets and blankets for your bunk bed. 3. You may arrive at the Camp anytime after 5:00 P.M. on Friday, but you are responsible for your own supper. 4. If you’ve never been to the retreat before, please let one of the Alabaster Leadership know and they’ll make sure you’ve got a buddy to show you the ropes for the weekend. 5. Hostesses are needed for mealtimes. If you would consider being a hostess, please let us know when you register.
