Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, October 2016

The 2015 Chardonnay represents a stark contrast from previous vintages, exhibiting far more finesse and yet lovely intensity of fruit, revealing citrus and stone fruit flavors with honeysuckle and baking bread hints. Light to medium-bodied, it has a a silken texture and lively backbone cutting through the zesty flavors, finishing long.

James Halliday Halliday Wine Magazine, April/May 2017

From low-cropping vineyards in the Lower and Upper Yarra, barrel-fermented, matured for 11 months in French oak. It is a carefully shaped wine, the emphasis on elegance and balance, length at Yarra Valley given. It is so pristine now it needs time to show its ultimate potential, but can’t be gainsaid now.

Campbell Mattinson WineFront, February 2017

This won’t be released until March but it’s definitely one to place on your radar, price permitting. Exhibit A. It’s the positive archetype of modern Australian chardonnay. It’s at-ease with complex struck match notes; it’s run with pear, meal and stonefruit flavour; it shows toasty, spicy oak but not too much; there’s a grapefruit-like bitterness, void of shame or self-consciousness; its freshness makes for a mouthwatering style. It’s classy and elegant but mostly it’s delicious.
