REVIEWS RE VIEWS

92 Points James Halliday Top 100 Wines of 2016 James Halliday Top 100, 2016 This is the entry point for Yering Station, a celebration of the synergy of region and variety. It has spent some time in French oak and is very tempting at this price, its varietal authenticity and length never in doubt. Has a year or twon in front of it.

90 Points Campbell Mattison Winefront, June 2015 Attractive wine. Attractive price. It certainly shines a positive light on Yarra Valley chardonnay. It’s peachy but refreshing, cut with apple and citrus and lengthy enough. Oak-spice plays a minor role. Above average, with ease.

88 Points Huon Hooke huonhooke.com 27 September 2015 Light yellow colour, backward looking. The aroma is fresh and clean, youthful and straightforward. It’s fruit-driven and a touch simple, but clean and well-made and has good intensity and some length. Good value.

Chris Shanahan Good Food, October 17, 2015 This is a really gorgeous white, built on mouth-watering, cool-climate varietal flavours, reminiscent of nectarine and citrus. But the fruit comes with extra layers of aroma, flavour and texture derived from oak barrels. You get a lot of wine for a modest price.
