Rocky Hill Little League Annual Meeting Minutes October 24, 2012 Welcome & Review of 2012 Season:
Dave Sevigny gave a quick review of the baseball season; highlights included the Challenger Division and the improved look at DiMauro. Dave also wanted to the number of teams that were able to use DiMauro from Majors all the way down to T-Ball. Jane Granato reviewed the softball season. Low numbers for 2012, had difficulty fielding a 9/10 District team this year. Allan Greenspan thanked the Town for their continued support with the fields. Field closing scheduled for Sunday Oct 28th at 9am
Treasurer’s Report/Financial Review: Allen Barber presented the Treasurer’s Report for the season.
Financially better year than prior year. Total Revenue for the year $56,000 / Total Expenses for the year of $59,000 Revenue - Registrations 53% Sponsorships 39% Expenses - Umpires & Uniforms account for 40% Per Player Cost $140 in 2012 and $130 before sponsorships. Per Player Cost $92 in 2012 and $85 in 2011 after sponsorships. CD was finally cashed in and rolled into Money Market for liquidity purposes with construction costs starting to come in. Interest of $3,000 earned on the CD in total.

Registrations have decreased by 12% over the last 2 years 422 Total players for 2012 / 473 Total players for 2011
2013 Board Agenda Items Fields
Field closing will be held Saturday Oct 27th at 9am Need to remove signage, windscreens, batting cages, flags, secure tarps
2013 Board Agenda Items (Continued) Concession Stand
Footing and initial plumbing have been installed. Estimated total budget of project is $100,000 before any donated services. Donated services to date estimated at about $8,000 Site Plan donated by Jim Cassidy ($3,000) Tree Removal donated by RH Parks & Rec ($500) Excavation donated by Henry Vassal & RH Town Employee ($2,000) Gravel Fill donated Ron Drisdelle & Henry Vassal ($2,500) Blocks for exterior walls to be ordered. First Brick order has been placed. Exterior walls and roof should be up by the end of 2012.
Disciplinary Procedures
Increased responsibility for Board Members & Coaches. Committee to be formed.
Fundraising
Committee to be formed to work toward additional funds needed for project.
Special Events
Doyle Family fundraiser and other opportunities to be involved Need to be able to address events without requiring a meeting
Ballot Review for 2013 Season / Conduct Vote
Reviewed the ballot for the 2013 Season Tom Moise motion to approve the slate as presented / Allen Barber seconded. All members of RHLL in attendance approved.
