RUSH WISCONSIN TEAM DESCRIPTION 2000 (U18) Girls RUSH (Born January 1, 2000 – December 31, 2000) TEAM FOCUS The goal is to have 18 players on the roster. The game format is 11 vs. 11 on a full -sided field. This is the first team at the age group. At these age groups the priority is to put together the best possible team. While preference will be given to form birth year specific teams, greater latitude is given to staff to form the best team. This could result in combined birth year teams being formed. The focus at these age groups is to help players advance onto college and play the game at the highest possible level while realizing their academic, social and leadership goals. Team tactics, functional/positional roles and responsibilities become a key area of emphasis all within the context of teaching players to compete with the expressed goal of teaching players to win games. ANTICIPATED LEAGUE WISCONSIN YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (WYSA)– PREMIER LEAGUE
The WYSA premier league is the highest league offering within the State of Wisconsin. This group will compete against some of the top clubs within the state who do not compete in the Midwest Regional League. The level of competition is extremely high and the level of commitment on the part of the player must be commensurate with the expectations of the league and the club. The team will secure between 8-10 league games within the State of Wisconsin. The team can travel as far as Green Bay for a game but traditionally we will host half the league games at our home site in Middleton and the other half against competition in the Milwaukee area. SENIOR ACADEMY TRAINING CENTER (SATC) Optional Program Annual Fee of $250 Once weekly training sessions in the fall focusing on Individual skill development. College Showcase opportunities will be identified for appropriate candidates. The best player pool in multiple age groups will be assembled to form the strongest team of players so they can be appropriately showcased in national events attended by college coaches. TOURNAMENT OPTIONS The focus is to identify the most appropriate College Showcase Tournaments to promote our players for top college soccer programs around the country. The coaching staff will identify additional Showcase and playing opportunities in the Winter months either for the team or via the Senior Academy Training Center (must be registered in SATC program to attend SATC events) Fall: Rockford Showcase Tournament August Great Lakes Fall Cup, Oconomowoc, WI August 26 – 28 Rush October Fest. Madison, WI October 11 – 13 State Cup October 2017 Additional College ID and Showcase Events (TBD) WINTER TRAINING 1st Week of January – 3rd Week of March Winter Indoor League (Optional) Team Training once per week Location: Middleton School Gyms Winter Indoor League Session 2 and/or 3 (Optional) $ Futsal and Foot skills training (Optional) $ Goalkeeper Clinic (Optional) $ $ Designates programming not covered by team fees. Players can elect to sign up and participate in these programs. TEAM COST $1300 Fee Includes: Registration Fee, 3 Tournaments (1 Rush Wisconsin Tournament, State Cup, and 1 Showcase Tournament) WDA League Fees, Team Snap Fees, Winter and
