SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION The Zonta Club of Fredericksburg Scholarship Program was established to assist and encourage women of all ages to further their career goals. The Zonta Club of Fredericksburg is part of a worldwide service organization of executive and professional women working together to advance the status of women. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00. Additional applications are available at www.zontafredericksburg.org. General Eligibility Requirements Applicant must be a resident of Gillespie County or of an adjoining county: Blanco, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Llano or Mason. Applicant must be a high-school senior or older who will be attending an accredited posthigh-school educational institution (i.e. college, university, trade school, etc.) Scholarships are based in part on financial need. Grade point average will be considered. Consideration is given to whether the overall circumstances and plans of an applicant make achievement of her goals realistic.

Application Requirements All application questions and blanks must be completed. Use additional paper if necessary. Two sealed letters of reference from persons not related to the applicant such as school officials, supervisors, community leaders and/or former employers must be attached. Most recent transcript must be submitted. The application must be printed, typed or computer generated. Do not staple applications. Applications and attachments thereto become the property of Zonta Club of Fredericksburg. Deadline – Complete applications must be POSTMARKED BY March 31, 2018.
