Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 12:27: Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. Simon writes.....10th September 2017 As followers of Christ we have the privilege to be able to bring our requests & needs to our heavenly Father in prayer. Mostly we find ourselves praying for our own personal concerns and the situation of those we share our lives with. But we are also challenged to engage on a wider canvas and pray for the needs of the world and of Christ’s church. Each week the notice sheet contains some ideas for intercession.....please can I encourage you to be part of this wave of prayer? PLEASE PRAY FOR: .....all those people engaged in ministry and mission volunteer opportunities that demonstrate the love of Christ to others. .....our St Paul’s SPLASH leaders & helpers and our Safeguarding Team. .....those whose lives have been devastated by the recent hurricanes & floods in the world....including in the Caribbean, Northern India, Sierra Leone & USA; for the relief effort & support of the international community. .....wisdom for world leaders in the on-going tensions around North Korea. .....wisdom and charity for those involved in Brexit negotiations. .....St Paul’s church plans for Autumn 2017.....including Ian Dalton & those planning the ‘Marriage Course’ and Levi Verstraeten as we prepare for the ‘Know Your Spiritual Gifts Course’. .....our own willingness to share our spiritual gifts for the building up of Christ’s Body, his church on earth.
