Sister’s in Christ “Project Cookie”
proves to be a sweet success By Eva Schuler n Wednesday, August 20 th McCary’s Chapel’s Sisters In Christ provided cookies for more than 200 faculty and staff members of Sabine ISD to enjoy on their “workday” prior to the start of another school year. More than 50 dozen cookies (yes, that’s more than 600 cookies) were baked or purchased and generously donated by members of our congregation for this community outreach. Large trays of cookies were assembled then delivered to five campus offices by Betty Adkins, Erin Benson, Pastor Debby Brown and myself. We are thankful for this opportunity to demonstrate our gratitude to the faculty, make them aware that we are praying for them each week and that we support their efforts to educate the children of our community.

I can’t give someone money to assist their physical needs if I don’t have money; and I can’t give to someone spiritual support unless I am well filled with the Spirit.
