Akanksha Sharma is the estranged wife of Zoravar Singh, the younger brother of Yuvraj Singh.
At the outset of the Bigg Boss 10, Akanksha outspoke about her troubled marriage and messed up life with Zoravar. Akanksha gave a shock to the audience when she confessed about how Singh family ill-treated her from the day she tied the knot with Zoravar.

Akanksha stated, ''People in a marriage, an arranged marriage need space to connect with each other. Our honeymoon was conveniently fixed in Dubai where the IPL was happening. She would not miss it at any cost. It was not like my husband and I were living separately in a hotel. We lived in an apartment where I was doing my routine chores like cooking and cleaning. It was a family moon. It was not a honeymoon for me.''
Responding to these allegations made by Akanksha, Shabnam during an interview with HT said..
''First of all, this matter is sub judice and she is not allowed to speak. It goes under the contempt of court. There's a special petition I had filed. Anyone can understand the agenda here and everybody knows it. We are not allowed to speak on this matter.''
Shabnam also told to media that Akanksha was into substance abuse.
Shabhnam said “Yuvi called Akanksha home and she admitted that she was taking drugs”. Yuvraj tried to counsel her, but there was no improvement. It’s stated that Monika (Akanksha's mother) slapped Akanksha because of her “bad behaviour” and that Akanksha refused to go to a marriage counsellor.
Reacting to this blame from Shabnam's end, Akanksha gave a shocking statement..
