Access to water will be straight across the lawn from any of the pull-offs. Owner: Forest Preserve District of Cook County Habitat Description: Forested and wetland site where the river pools into lagoons. Good diversity of macroinvertabrates. The lagoons spread for miles along Forestway Dr. There are multiple places to set up student groups. Access to water: Easy access right down to the water. No steep banks.
