Chapter 24 member, I would like to thank the folks at Kennedy Valve for a fantastic tour. This event was one of our biggest turnouts in years. I would also like to thank Carol Miller and AM&T for partnering up with us for this event. The feedback from the tour was very positive and it is easy to see all the hard work that the folks at Kennedy Valve have been doing. Thanks again for your time and support of Chapter 24. This month we will be touring DePuy Synthes (U.S.A.) in Horseheads. The company is now owned by Johnson & Johnson, an American multinational medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturer founded in 1886. The Horseheads facility produces medical implants for trauma victims, as well as products for max facial, spine, hand and foot plates, surgical drills and nails, etc. This tour will be limited to 25 people. You must sign up for the tour in advance, as no one is allowed to enter to plant without 24 hours notice. For this reason no walk-ins will be allowed. To reserve your spot, call Chris Arnold with your name, title and the company that you work for. Also leave your contact information in case there are any questions. A photo I.D. will be required at the Front Lobby. Please wear safety shoes & safety glasses if you have them. Hope to see you there for this very informational tour. Just a reminder that walk-ins for this tour will NOT be allowed. You must sign up with Chris Arnold personally. Also due to the limitation of spots for the tour we will be giving SME Chapter 24 Members first opportunities for the tour. We will keep all other sign ups on a list and fill the remaining spots on a first come, first serve basis. So be sure to sign up right away.
