San Mateo Little League American Disciplinary Policy   Preface   Our  goal  is  for  the  kids  of  San  Mateo  Little  League  American  is  to  have  fun  and  have   the  ability  to  play  in  a  safe  environment.   Every  once  and  a  while  we  experience  bad  behavior  or  poor  judgment  on  behalf  of  a   member  of  our  SMLLA  community.    The  following  document  outlines  SMLLA’s   disciplinary  policies    for  players,  parents,  managers,  coaches  and  volunteers.    Fun  is  a  concept  that  is  difficult  to  measure.  I  think  that  it  is  safe  to  say  that  positive   coaching,  learning  the  fundamentals  of  baseball  and  playing  teams  of  similar  or  like   talent  helps  the  child  better  experience  the  concept  of  “Having  a  Fun  Time”.

Players:   Managers  are  required  to  report  a  player  that  misses  two  scheduled  practices   and/or  games    without  notifying  the  Team  Manager  to  the  Player  Agent   ([email protected]).  The  Player  Agent  will  collect  the  facts  and  schedule  a   meeting  with  the  Player  in  Question,  Parents  of  the  Player  in  Question,  The   President,  Secretary,  VP  of  Baseball  and  the  Player  Agent.  The  first  discussion  will   result  in  a  written  and  verbal  warning.  Subsequent  offenses  can  result  in  a   suspension  of  one  or  more  games  as  well  as  loose  the  opportunity  to  be  considered   for  an  All  Star  Team.
