Preface SoFoBoMo 2010 became an opportunity for me to explore the genre of food as this is another of my passions and at the same time, allow me to setup and play around with a table studio.
While the theme 'food' almost has limitless possibilities, I thought I would limit it to the hard edged fruits and vegetables that grace my plate every now and then.
The photos are an exploration of colour, shape and texture of just the subject and therefore I have either used a white background or, for some, a black background to highlight an item of food.

The great benefits of photographing food is that you get to enjoy objects in its more natural state; which for fruit, is fresh, sweet and juicy, whereas with vegetables, it's cooked with a few spices and garnishments.
