MelonBike KIDS’ KUP RACE starting at 10:00 AM. Races for boys & girls ages, 4-5 6-7 8-9 10-12 *NOTE: KIDS’ KUP 6-12 year olds will need a youth/junior license, one-day at $10, or annual at $35. 4-5 year olds no license required and is a FUN RIDE per USAC.
PRIZES: Cat 1 – 100% payout 40% deep. Cat 2 & 3 – trophies 1-3. Cat 2 & 3 - Raffle for SWAG. On –site registration will be held the day of the race from 8:30am – 12:10pm at Clear Bay. On- site registration will end 30 minutes prior to start time! Helmets are required when rider is on the bike. On-line race fees: Juniors $20, Cat 3 $25, Cat 1 & 2 $30. On-site registration is $5 more than listed prices, except for Juniors. To avoid waiting in line on race day online registration is highly recommended and available at www.usacycling.org and www.oktdd.org (closes March 18, 10pm). Racers (except Juniors) may sign electronically the standard release – you must log onto your USA Cycling account – if you do not have one you may create one for no charge at www.usacycling.org To qualify for Tour de Dirt (TdD) Series awards all Cat 1 & Cat 2 racers must have an annual USAC MTB license. Additionally, Cat 1 riders must have an annual USAC MTB $75 license, available online, or on site. One-day licenses for Cat 2 & 3 riders can be purchased for $10 at the race, see www.usacycling.org. Cat 3 racers are eligible for TdD Series awards using one-day licenses. A $5 TdD number plate is required to participate in any TdD event in 2016. These number plates are available at any TdD event registration. Racers must show their 2016 TdD number plate before they will be allowed to register for the Sooner Stampede.
