KYA Board of Directors Minutes of Meeting August 21, 2016 Call to order – 7:45 p.m. by Kevin Allen  Treasure Report was presented. Motion to approve by Andy Alexander and seconded by Garvin Fouts. Unanimous approval. New Business:  Consider the resignation of David Camario as baseball commissioner. Motion to approve by Chance Heady and seconded by Lance Stovall. Unanimous approval.  Consider the nomination of David Traylor as Baseball commissioner. Motion to approve by Amy Manners and seconded by Lance Stovall. Unanimous approval.  Consider the reinstatement of Paul Quinones as a member in good standing with the Association. Mr. Quinones appeared before the Board to request reinstatement. After discussion, Chance Heady presented a motion to consider the reinstatement of Mr. Quinones as an Association Member. Michael Chapman seconded the motion. Andy Alexander presented a motion to vote by individual ballot. A ballot vote was administered and the motion to reinstate did not pass.

Sport VPs Reports Basketball / Select Basketball: Vickisia Crew-Jones  Rec. Basketball registration opens on September 25th 2016  December 5th 2016 practice begins  Games starting on Saturdays January 7th – March 4th Softball / Select Softball: Pat Stuhr  43 teams for fall season  This weekend reached out to former KYA players to form teams to play a round robin 1 st alumni tournament.

Football: Garvin Fouts  Schedules are out  390 enrollments for fall  September 10th 2016, first games of season Baseball / Select Baseball: Chance Heady  95 Teams  Warm up pre-season tourney next weekend  8/22-8/26 Rec. baseball team’s formations and head coach meetings

Treasure Report: Nathan Brubaker  Nothing to Report

Cheerleading Report: Kevin Allen  Cheerleading Budget – Motion to approve by Chance Heady and seconded by Pat Stuhr. Unanimous approval.
