Club Prole St. Ives Hockey Club is a large community club, with over 300 members. The club consists of 5 men’s team, 3 ladies teams and a large junior section Geographically placed in the heart of the East, the 8 teams cover a large catchment area, travelling as far north as Lincoln and as far south as Southall, Middx St Ives has always over achieved for such a small town. Previous players have gone on to play national league and internationally, including GB’s Hannah Macleod. The current ladies & men’s 1st teams are only 2 promotions away from the National League The club has a good relationship with the local press. Weekly match reports and photo’s make the sports pages of the local press and strong processes are begin developed to enhance the media coverage locally, including relationship building with editors and radio appearances St. Ives Hockey Club are passionate about staying local and supporting the community and the businesses within it
