DRESSAGE TESTS from NZPCA Riding Tests (2018) book GEAR CHECKS are COMPULSORY for all phases – no gear check = elimination FENCE JUDGES briefing at 11.00 am at the Pony Club Shed PRIZEGIVING - unmounted but correct dress please - (PC Uniform acceptable) PRIZES for overall winners, thanks to PGG WRIGHTSON, RIBBONS 1st - 6th
NO DOGS on the PC Grounds. No exceptions. Bring a dog and you will be asked to leave. Please DO NOT leave dogs in cars, tied to floats or in your truck. This means YOU. ALL persons enter the grounds at their own risk. THE Committee reserves the right to limit entries or alter the programme as necessary. Online entry is preferred SCRATCHINGS EF $40 refund only with vet/dr’s cert, within 7 days Helmets must be worn while mounted, and be tagged with the current NZPCA / ESNZ red helmet tag. Back protectors are compulsory for the jumping phase South Wairarapa Pony Club will be holding a Team Challenge for all North Wairarapa and South Wairarapa Pony Club branches to be held in conjunction with the above classes. All Wairarapa PC riders (under 25 yrs) are potential members for their Club’s Team. The score of the top 4 riders from each Club will be their Club’s total, regardless of the class riders have entered. The HICKSTEAD LOG will be awarded to the winning team. Please note your Pony Club branch on your entry

SUNDAY MAY 13th, 2018 Entries on www.equestrianentries.co.nz ABOUT THIS EVENT: SWPC Hickstead Day is a 2-phase event. It is similar to eventing. Combinations ride their dressage test at the designated time. Present yourself to the dressage judge’s car before entering the arena to make sure the judge knows who you are. The jumping phase consists of a combination of XCountry fences and show jumps. Make sure you identify on your entry if you are a financial member of SWPC or NWPC so that your score counts towards the Hickstead Log challenge! Please consider fence judging! Riders are welcome to fence judge for one or two classes as every little bit of help makes a difference!
Are you able to get someone to come along to fence judge? We can’t run the day without them. ** REMINDERS** All rubbish to be removed from around trucks, yards etc. Manure can be placed at any of the marked sites on the grounds. STRICTLY NO DOGS ON CLAREVILLE GROUNDS. Dogs on the grounds = automatic elimination.
