Third grade math performance increased by 7.19%. Fifth grade math performance increased by 6.26%. Five (3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th,8th grades) of the six grade levels tested saw an increase from last year. Fifth and eighth grades saw increases in student performance in ELL, IEP and FRL categories. Many schools are performing higher than overall state averages. Summer academies funded through school improvement grant funds supports continued implementation.

• The district had two grade levels (4th and 5th) performing above the state average in ELL. • The district had four grade levels (3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th) performing above the state average in the IEP category. • Sixth grade reading performance increased by 6.48%. • Seventh and eighth grade reading performance increased by more than 4%. • Five (4th, 5th ,6th ,7th ,8th grades) of the six grade levels tested saw an increase over last year. • Many schools are performing higher than overall state averages.
