Care-A-Thon 2014 Our 2014 Care-A-Thon is gaining momentum as many families and businesses are committing to sponsorships. If you are interested in being a sponsor for Care-A-Thon, please see the attached brochure or contact the TCS office. Care-A–Thon packets were sent home with students recently. Included in the packet is information about how you can help your student(s) as they begin to ask for support. Serving God by Serving Our Communi es
Dear Friends, Texoma Chris an School proudly invites you to be a Sponsor of our annual CARE‐A ‐THON, which will be held in October. Throughout our CARE‐A‐THON, students of Texoma Chris an School will purposefully reach out and demonstrate ac ve involvement in their neighborhoods and community by way of numerous service projects. They will work hundreds of hours to see the projects to comple on. Last year’s CARE‐A‐THON was a great success, and we believe this year can be even be er with your help. CARE‐A‐THON has several purposes. First of all, Texoma Chris an School students partner with non-profit organiza ons in the community to help them meet their goals as well as teach our students the value of community service and volunteerism. Your support of these projects helps to reinforce the character which we hope to ins ll in our students and in turn help make them be er ci zens. Second, it is an important fundraiser by which pledges are gathered from family and friends by students for completed service projects. Finally, our students experience the reward of service by being the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Enclosed you will find informa on outlining our Sponsorship opportuni es available this year. We hope you or your business will consider working in partnership with Texoma Chris an School for CARE‐A‐ THON 2014. We greatly value your support. It enables Texoma Chris an School to make a significant impact in our community and further the mission of our school. We greatly appreciate your considera on. Sincerely, Julie Bentsen CARE‐A‐THON Coordinator
